Halifax Civic Trust moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Halifax Civic Trust, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Quadruple glazing
Hi Rich! I've created the "Quadruple glazing" article while (hopefully) removing the redirect to "Insulated glazing". There is persistent redirect to "Insulated glazing" on mobile version to the "Insulated glazing" if one Googles up the "Quadruple glazing". It is my understanding that removing mobile redirect might require intervention of someone with higher "skills" than me? Could you help here, please? BRG, Aleš (alias Alek14).

Speedy deletion nomination of Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Game of Thrones: Winter is Coming requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Pondicherry Portal
A tag has been placed on Category:Pondicherry Portal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
Kemp Brook
Hi Rich. I just came across an article you created called Kemp Brook. This appears to be identical with River Kemp which has a more complete article. OS maps call this the River Kemp, and I can't find a separate Kemp Brook. Would you agree to my converting Kemp Brook to a redirect, or am I missing something?--Shantavira|feed me 16:30, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

- (talk page watcher) @Fastily and Sam Sailor: The description for {{db-talk}} specifically says that "This does not include pages which are useful to the project such as ... information for a future article, ...". This page was clearly useful for a future article, as a list of sources on someone who has an article in ODNB, and should not have been deleted. PamD 05:28, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- Though I now see that this exception is not listed at the description of WP:G8! Perhaps the two pages need to be better aligned. There's also {{G8-exempt}}, which would be useful if the G8 criteria did explicitly include pages useful for future articles. PamD 05:39, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- @PamD: I guess you could, at least theoretically, tag such a talk page with {{G8-exempt}}, which would exclude it from Wikipedia:Database reports/Orphaned talk pages and a query like Quarry:query/28475. I have browsed project pages and project talk pages that link to G8-exempt, but I have neither found a discussion that said we can and do practise such use of G8-exempt, nor one that says we should not. Just as we do not use main space for drafting, why should we use ns:1 for what is essentially draft notes? Should we start a discussion at WT:CSD? In any case, the two links are here above for anybody who wants to start a draft. Best, Sam Sailor 07:17, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

You still have an active restriction prohibiting you from "making cosmetic changes to wikicode that have no effect on the rendered page". Your latest 30 edits made in the space of 2 minutes, and most of your last 200 edits or so, seem to violate this restriction. Fram (talk) 07:27, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
