Looking for help
Hi,
I was looking for some small help.Recently I created a new article en:Kithaab i.e. es:Kithaab-a play about women rights issues- which has been copy edited and is ready for translation in various languages. Looking for your possible help in translating the article en:Kithaab es:Kithaab to your language. If you are unable to spare time yourself then may be you like to refer the same to some other translator to get it translated in their own respective languages.
Thanking you , with warm regards

"Too Long" warning, and suggestions?
I came across the warning banner posted at List of Farm to Market Roads in Texas (1–99). The reason that other editors began posting the Farm to Market (/Ranch to Market) roads list in groups was that there was concern from other editors/admins that having individual FM/RM roads in individual articles would be troublesome in regards to amount of stub articles. It was decided by others to group the roads into articles of 100 routes each. Would grouping the routes by 50 each be better, to the point of it not being too many markup bytes? Thank you in advance for your perusal and time (hope all is well across the pond). Shaggylawn65 (talk) 23:04, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Shaggylawn65: Thank you. The article currently has 197,649 bytes of wiki-markup; I'd suggest diving it into at least four, so roads 1-25, 26-50, etc., depending on how much common boilerplate/citation material there is. Administrators' newsletter – March 2019
News and updates for administrators from the past month (February 2019).
Interface administrator changes
|
|
- The RfC on administrator activity requirements failed to reach consensus for any proposal.
- Following discussions at the Bureaucrats' noticeboard and Wikipedia talk:Administrators, an earlier change to the restoration of adminship policy was reverted. If requested, bureaucrats will not restore administrator permissions removed due to inactivity if there have been five years without a logged administrator action; this "five year rule" does not apply to permissions removed voluntarily.
- A new tool is available to help determine if a given IP is an open proxy/VPN/webhost/compromised host.
- The Arbitration Committee announced two new OTRS queues. Both are meant solely for cases involving private information; other cases will continue to be handled at the appropriate venues (e.g., WP:COIN or WP:SPI).
- paid-en-wpwikipedia.org has been set up to receive private evidence related to abusive paid editing.
- checkuser-en-wpwikipedia.org has been set up to receive private requests for CheckUser. For instance, requests for IP block exemption for anonymous proxy editing should now be sent to this address instead of the functionaries-en list.
- The Arbitration Committee announced two new OTRS queues. Both are meant solely for cases involving private information; other cases will continue to be handled at the appropriate venues (e.g., WP:COIN or WP:SPI).
- Following the 2019 Steward Elections, the following editors have been appointed as stewards: Base, Einsbor, Jon Kolbert, Schniggendiller, and Wim b.
