I will do the exercises presented at User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises here so as to save space on the actual RFA.
User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises/A tory liar
- The tag is incorrect. No one is likely to accidentally type "A tory liar" when they mean to type "Jeffrey Archer", and it's certainly not a misnomer. Because it's calling him "a tory liar", the {{template:db-g10}} template would be much more appropriate. It's an attack on Jeffrey Archer, and G10 is a general speedy deletion template that can apply to redirects.
- I would delete the page and explain that the page is an attack page in the deletion summary.
- ---
- I would check the account contributions. If the account was blocked and this edit was missed, the other contributions might contain vandalism that had also been missed.
User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises/Deben High School
- The tag is incorrect. The A7 template specifically states: "Note that books, albums, software etc., or schools, are not eligible under this criterion". No tag should be used. The article does not qualify for speedy deletion.
- ---
- It is verifiable ([1]) that a Deben High School exists in Felixstowe. High school articles are kept if they are verifiable. I would edit the article to add that Felixstowe is in Suffolk in the UK, as most people wouldn't know where Felixstowe is. I would also add some information and cite the source(s) that I used. As for other stuff, I would tag it with both the {{Suffolk-school-stub}} template and the {{Schools in Suffolk}} template, and categorize the article.
- I would probably check to see if the anon IP had been welcomed. I would suggest s/he create an account. I would probably also remind whoever had moved the article into the articlespace for the IP editor, as well as the IP editor, to remember that AfC requires that the article have context and not be too short.
User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises/Malcom Hardee
The template is correct. The page qualifies as an attack page, I would say.I would delete the page and explain that it's an attack page in the deletion summary.- ---
Because Malcom Hardee is notable, I would create a stub page for him.
Goodness, you're right.
- The template is incorrect, as those claims are factually accurate.
- ---
- I would keep the page,
considering it is accurate.but redirect it, as per below. I would rewrite it so that it was more encyclopedic and had more information than just the firecracker and drowning.Redirect to Malcolm Hardee, as it is a common misspelling.
User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises/New article
- I would say that a G2 template would be much more appropriate. It's definitely a test page, not vandalism. The vandalism template and associated warning are much more harsh and likely to scare a new user away from editing.
- I would delete the page, with the reasoning that it's a test page.
- ---
- I would welcome the user and replace the vandalism warning with the softer edit test warning.
User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises/Wizzy Wig the Clown
- The A7 template seems appropriate. I found no reliable sources proving the existence of Wizzy Wig the Clown, so he doesn't fit WP:Notability (people). Even the assertions to notability on the page would be pretty weak even if they were true.
- I would delete the page, saying he's a non-notable person.
- ---
- I would welcome the user, and give a COI warning because his username suggests that he either is Wizzy Wig the Clown, or is affiliated with him.
User:StephenBuxton/CSD Exercises/Athur the Great
- The template seems correct. Either this or the G2 template could be usable in this case.
- I would delete the page, saying it's a non-notable person and/or a test page.
- ---
- I would make a request for oversight, as the user put his home address on the page. I would also welcome the user, warn the user about creating test pages (or pages about non-notable people, depending which template was used), and remind the user not to post information like this on Wikipedia.
