Themself
Greetings, all. In the plot section, there's this phrase: "..an inverted soldier with a red trinket appears and sacrifices themself." Is there any guideline about using "themself" in Wikipedia about an individual of unknown sexual or gender identity? Thanks in advance. -The Gnome (talk) 21:21, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:PRONOUN: Gender-neutral pronouns should be used (or pronouns avoided) where gendered language is not necessary, and especially when gender is not specific or unknown.InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:40, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
