English: This wooden box was made by the order of the Abbasid Caliph Al-Mustansir Bi'llah (r. 1226-1242 CE) in the year 624 AH (1227 CE). L 260 cm, W 185 cm, and H 94 cm. The box was transferred (from modern-day Al-Kadhimiya Mosque, Kadhmain Shrine) to another place, the Tomb of al-Sahabi Salman Al-Mohammadi in Salman Pak town, southern Baghdad, in 769 AH (1367 CE). The upper lid is not original. On display at the Islamic Gallery of the Iraq Museum in Baghdad.
