Rabbi Yaakov Beasley is an author, teacher, and expert in Tanakh. He currently teaches Tanakh at Yeshivat Lev Hatorah[1]. He has contributed articles or recorded shiurim to Israel Koschitzky Torat Har Etzion[2][3], Tradition magazine[2]and Torah in Motion[4]. He was also a scholar for the Israel Bible[5]. In addition, he created a podcast called "TanachTalks"[6][7] and has a podcast series on Spotify with Yeshivat Lev HaTorah[8].
Biography
Yaakov Beasley is from Toronto, Canada[6]. He moved to Israel in 1993[9] and lives in Alon Shevut[10]. He has taught at CHAT[11], Yavneh Academy, Akiva High School and Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion, among other institutions[12][3]. He has degrees of MS from Yeshiva University in Jewish education[12] and BA from Bar-Ilan University,[6] where he is pursuing a doctorate on Micah[13]. He also studied at Mercaz Kollel[14].
